Charter Cable Channel 4 is the local Government public access station. The City Council, Planning Commission, and Urban Renewal meetings are televised. The City Council and Urban Renewal meetings are usually held on the same Monday night. The Urban Renewal meeting usually starts at 6:00 p.m. The City Council meeting usually starts at 7:00 p.m. The Planning Commission is usually the Tuesday night following the Monday night City Council meeting and starts at 7:00 p.m. The meeting schedule is posted on the Lincoln City website at www.lincolncity.org. Mac users may have difficulty with the left navigation frame on the website.

Channel 4 also displays PowerPoint slides of upcoming events and information about various organizations that welcome your participation.

The News Guard newspaper is owned by a couple who reside in Tillamook.

The Radio Stations KYTE FM/KNPT AM/KBCH AM/KCRF FM/KNCU FM (U92) may be changing ownership.

The Cable TV company is owned by Paul Allen, who also owns the Trailblazers Basketball Team in Portland, and made his wealth with Bill Gates in Microsoft, the computer software company.
